Our team
Fine instruments and first-class repairs are born of experience, precision and the calm that every detail demands. Our team brings together different specialisations and many years of craftsmanship. Together we handle advice, repair, servicing and the individual care of our customers.
Marcel Munzlinger
Marcel Munzlinger completed his training as a brass instrument maker at Gebr. Alexander in Mainz. During the ten years that followed as a journeyman, he increasingly specialised in the repair of woodwind instruments. He later worked as a contrabassoon specialist at Püchner. He has been part of the BUDDENBOHM team since 2024, looking after repairs and work on high-quality woodwind instruments at the Daxweiler location.
Gerhard Buddenbohm
Gerhard Buddenbohm supports the team at the Bückeburg location and is the point of contact for the organisational side of the shop and workshop.
Thomas Wirtz
Thomas Wirtz supports the team in the shop and in day-to-day operations at the Bückeburg location.

Our Showroom in Bückeburg
In our showroom, you can experience BUDDENBOHM instruments in person, take your time getting to know our various models and compare them directly with one another. Sound, response and playing feel can thus be assessed in detail and matched precisely to your own preferences.
Drawing on our experience in the development and construction of fine brass instruments, we advise you on selecting the right model and its individual configuration. The modular design of our instruments opens up a wide range of possibilities for tailoring each model precisely to the musician's tonal and playing requirements.

Workshop
Master workshop
A fine instrument deserves equally fine care. In our workshop we carry out repairs, servicing, full overhauls and individual adjustments on brass instruments.
In doing so, we consider not only individual damage or worn parts, but the instrument as a whole. Our aim is to preserve function, response and playing feel over the long term, or to improve them in a targeted way. Every task is carefully inspected, discussed transparently and executed with expert care.
