What makes the Buddenbohm Infinity Classic special?
The Infinity Classic is a Bb trumpet with a modular design and the patented Buddenbohm resonance rings on the leadpipe ferrule and the bell receiver. They allow response, centring and intonation to be shaped precisely. Prof. Jean Fleury and Daniel Struckmeyer (Stabsmusikkorps der Bundeswehr) play this model.
What are the technical specifications of the Infinity Classic?
Key of Bb, MAW Standard valves, bore 11.7 mm, one-piece hand-hammered gold brass bell of 125 mm, heavy gold brass leadpipe. Fitted with a thumb saddle on the 1st valve, a finger ring on the 3rd valve and a finger hook on the leadpipe.
How much does the Infinity Classic cost?
The base price is €3,900 (polished, incl. 19% VAT, as of April 2026).
How do the resonance rings work?
The mass rings are slipped onto the leadpipe ferrule and the bell receiver. Additional mass at these points improves centring, the slotting of the notes, intonation and response – developed together with Prof. Dr. Herbert Hellhund and protected at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office.
What kind of music is the Infinity Classic suited to?
For classical orchestral and ensemble playing, wind band and solo repertoire – wherever a warm, carrying sound with a balanced response is called for.
