What is the Buddenbohm Travelbone?
The Travelbone is a travel trombone developed by Buddenbohm that fits into carry-on luggage when disassembled – while sounding and playing like a full-size trombone. The design has been filed for patent.
Does the Travelbone really fit into carry-on luggage?
Yes. That is exactly what it was developed for: it packs down so compactly that it complies with the usual carry-on dimensions – ideal for travelling musicians who do not want to check in their instrument.
Does a travel trombone sound like a normal trombone?
