What are the benefits of the Hagmann valve?
The Hagmann valve works with a particularly open air path. As a result the F side responds almost identically to the Bb side and the sound remains free and centred – highly valued by orchestral musicians who play a great deal on the valve side.
What does gold brass mean for the bell?
Gold brass has a higher copper content than classic brass. This produces a warmer, rounder tonal core with a soft response – ideal for orchestral playing.
