The Mira is a Bb/F tenor trombone with a one-piece hand-hammered brass bell in the special “Mount Vernon” shape (8.5" / 216 mm). It combines a warm, carrying orchestral sound with plenty of core – played by Youngnam Roh (Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra) and Andy Chen, among others.

The Meinlschmidt open-flow valve guides the air column through the valve circuit with exceptionally low resistance. The sound stays open and homogeneous when switching to the F side and the response barely changes – a major advantage in everyday orchestral work.
